FREE FALL INTO THE DEPTHS AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue With the new AQUASPHERE collection, Hanhart is ushering in a groundbreaking era in its history. For the first time, the manufacturer from the Black Forest, which specializes in pilot's and motorsport watches, is presenting an independent diver's watch series. With the first model, the new AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue with a 42 mm diameter, the traditional brand aims to compete with the best diving watches on the market. Fabio Tunno, the deepest German freediver in apnoea diving, has already successfully tested the watch at depth for months. The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue even mastered a dive to a depth of 110 meters without any problems. The Hanhart maxims apply above and below water: maximum functionality, ease of use, exceptional precision and outstanding readability. WITH A VIEW TO THE FUTURE HANHART ON A DIVE Hanhart from the Black Forest is well known for its pilot's watches, especially chronographs. The iconic 417 ES impresses with its breathtaking history and timeless design. But a brand must also look to the future and continue to develop. Hanhart has so far lacked a collection that meets the high demands of diving and at the same time convinces with a modern, appealing style. For this reason, Hanhart began working on the new AQUASPHERE over three years ago, which now closes this gap. DEVELOPED FOR EXTREME THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA The inspiration for the new collection was the tried and tested PRIMUS Diver, whose best features were incorporated into the development of the AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue. By combining technical precision and modern design, Hanhart has set a new benchmark for itself with this model and offers a watch that is not only powerful but also visually sophisticated down to the finest detail. In order to test all the functions and robustness in practice, Hanhart gave the prototype to one of the deepest German freedivers in apnoea diving, Fabio Tunno, to take on a trip this year. Numerous dives in Germany, in the Blue Hole in Egypt and at the World Championships in Corsica were successfully completed. The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue mastered all extreme situations perfectly. TESTED UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS BY THE DEEPEST GERMAN FREEDIVER FABIO TUNNO Fabio Tunno is an exceptional athlete in every respect: at the Freediving World Cup in Sharm el Sheikh, he set 5 German national records in freediving and is considered one of the best professional freedivers in the world. With an impressive depth of 110 meters, he is the deepest German freediver and regularly takes part in world championships. He tested the new AQUASPHERE for Hanhart and used it to dive to 110 meters off the coast of Egypt in the monofin discipline. "As a professional scuba and freediving athlete, I have to be able to rely on one thing 100% - time. The AQUASPHERE has supported me perfectly as a coach and athlete at competitions this year. Whether diving on the picturesque reefs in the sea or into the depths of the local lakes, I can simply read off my dive times. For me, it's a must-have for anyone with a passion for diving, a piece of the Black Forest in the distance and vice versa." At his diving school FABIOLOUS FREEDIVING, anyone can immerse themselves in the world of freediving, which is about much more than just holding your breath. For Fabio Tunno himself, the experience in the water is a very special one every time he dives: "For me, the element of water is more than just H2O. It calms me down, gives me energy and teaches me more about myself time and time again. Whether swimming, snorkeling or diving, our lives need water." FREE FALL INTO THE DEPTHS THE FREE FALL In apnoea diving, free fall plays a central role in the deep diving technique. From a certain depth, depending on body dimensions and diving equipment, all air-filled cavities are compressed to such an extent that the diver enters a weightless state and then glides downwards without effort. In this phase, movement is governed by the natural pressure of the water and gravity, allowing the diver to conserve energy and oxygen to reach deeper depths. The FreeFall is not only a fascinating feeling of letting go, but also a critical moment in which technique and mental awareness are crucial. A MUST-HAVE FOR EVERY DIVER SPORTY DESIGN WITH BEST FUNCTIONALITY The design of the characteristic fluted bezel of the PRIMUS Diver has been adopted for the AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue. However, it has been technically refined, the radii are more rounded and the click mechanism has been optimized. For safety reasons, it can only be turned counter-clockwise, as is usual with diving watches, and has 60 precise clicks. Accidental clockwise rotation could unintentionally shorten the remaining dive time. A date has been omitted for perfect symmetry. The back is adorned with a stylish, high-quality embossing of an underwater world with matt and polished surfaces, which emphasizes the connection to the maritime environment. The strap lugs have also been taken up visually from the PRIMUS Diver to give the new diver's watch more sophistication and independence. Perfect for every dive ROBUST & SAFE The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue is water-resistant up to 30 ATM or 30 bar (approx. 300 meters), making it ideal for demanding dives. Its robustness, even at great depths, is underlined by a helium valve integrated into the case at 10 o'clock. This meets the requirements for deep divers in hyperbaric chambers and protects the watch from damage during the decompression phase. The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue is therefore the ideal companion for anyone who wants to explore the depths. A crown protector provides additional security for the screw-down crown and the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside ensures maximum protection against scratches from above. READABILITY AT DEPTH? NO PROBLEM! SUPER-LUMINOVA® Not only the hands, appliqués and the number 12 on the dial are coated with Super-LumiNova® C1. The numerals, index lines and the triangle on the ceramic bezel are also coated with luminous material so that divers can quickly read important information even in difficult lighting conditions. A bar has been integrated into the hour hand to clearly distinguish it from the minute hand and the tip of the second hand has been painted red for better legibility. The rehaut on the edge of the dial enables a more precise reading of the seconds. ON THE HOOKSTRAP™ TEXTILE STRAP OR STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET EXCELLENT WEARING COMFORT The watch is available with either a Hookstrap™ textile strap or a robust stainless steel strap. The textile strap has the advantage of being easy to adjust and lightweight, while the stainless steel strap is easy to clean and robust. The steel strap has a quick-change mechanism and the clasp has a diver's extension and fine adjustment option.
