STRICTLY LIMITED TO 150 PCS. PRIMUS FLY NAVY PVD MFG5 The PRIMUS FLY NAVY is a new special edition, limited to a total of just 150 pieces, and is the latest addition to the PRIMUS collection from watch manufacturer Hanhart in the Black Forest. Rarely is a reliable and robust chronograph needed as much as when flying low over the sea on a stormy night. Whether in the Arctic or in the tropics, in the ocean or in the coastal mountains, flying in the navy often presents difficult conditions. The PRIMUS FLY NAVY chronograph is precise, reliable and easy to read by day and night, making it easier to fly without any further navigational aids. Precision and tradition have been a high priority for the German navy for over 110 years, and Hanhart has also been following this maxim since 1882, which is reflected in this limited special edition. DEVELOPED FOR EXTREME HANHART AND AVIATION The important connection between Hanhart and aviation goes back a long way in history. In aviation, the automatic pilot's watches had to withstand extreme vibrations, enormous temperature fluctuations, large differences in altitude and fluctuating weather conditions - challenges that the air forces are still familiar with today. PRECISION & RELIABILITY HIGHEST PRECISION Flying over the sea has always required maximum precision and a keen understanding of the elements. There are few other places where the forces of nature have such a direct effect as on a low flight over the sea on a stormy night, which ends with a landing on a swaying deck. The limited PRIMUS FLY NAVY is a reliable and precise chronograph and the perfect wrist companion for such challenging situations. The limited-edition chronograph is both a chic watch for a relaxed beach vacation and a reliable timepiece for challenging tasks in the naval forces. WITH NAVY LOGO MARITIME DETAILS The limited PRIMUS FLY NAVY chronograph combines precision and tradition with various maritime details. According to Greek mythology, the second hand shows the trident of Poseidon, the god of the sea, which can also be found on the coat of arms of the naval aviation squadron 3 ‘Graf Zeppelin’. The sapphire crystal case back features either the coat of arms of the MFG3 ‘Graf Zeppelin’ or the MFG5 squadron. To complete the unique details of the limited-edition naval watch, the ‘naval aviator logo’ is depicted on the navy blue dial and on the screw crown of the chronograph. AVAILABLE IN TWO VERSIONS STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING The PRIMUS FLY NAVY chronograph is available with a stainless steel case and PVD-coated case. The version with a stainless steel case comes with a blue textile strap. The numerals and hands of the PRIMUS FLY NAVY are coated with the modern Super LumiNova® SLN C3 GL, which ensures perfect readability day and night. AVAILABLE IN TWO VERSIONS PVD COATED STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING The PRIMUS chronograph with the black, PVD-coated case comes with a matching black textile strap. The sapphire crystal case back of both versions is printed with either the MFG3 or MFG5 crest in black and can be individually selected. COAT OF ARMS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS CASE UNITY THROUGH COHESION AND VIRTUES The crests of the Naval Air Wing 3 ``Graf Zeppelin`` or Naval Air Wing 5 are printed on the case back of the PRIMUS FLY NAVY chronograph and are a symbol of cohesion and solidarity. The MFG3 coat of arms symbolizes the affiliation to the naval aviators by the wing and the anchor in the middle. The five stars stand for the five virtues of loyalty, courage, willingness, reliability and perseverance. The MFG5 coat of arms includes water, sea eagle, anchor and wing as elements and has existed in this form since 2013. The head of the sea eagle has the significance of maintaining sovereignty over the airspace above the sea. Picture SEA KING in the air - Copyright: HelispotterMV
