DESIGNED IN THE BLACK FOREST – BORN FOR THE SKY PRIMUS Pilot As a contemporary interpretation of legendary pilot's watches, the PRIMUS Pilot is the ideal precision timepiece for use in the air. The red pusher has characterized Hanhart watches since 1939 and is a clear reminiscence of the first Hanhart pilot's watches - it used to prevent pilots from accidentally resetting the stop time. Because the pilots operated the crown of their wristwatch with gloves, it had to be as large and easy to grip as possible - just like that of the PRIMUS Pilot. CLASSIC & QUIET DYNAMIC ELEGANCE This chronograph from Hanhart is designed in a monochrome color scheme. The otherwise rather bold and striking design of the PRIMUS models is kept relatively simple in this example, giving it a minimalist and elegant character. The tone-on-tone design with the different shades of grey thus contributes to the good readability of the dial and emphasizes the clear lines of the watch. With this chronograph, the Black Forest watch manufacturer proves that the PRIMUS line not only has a sporty, dynamic facet, but also a classic, calm one. Like its predecessors, the young PRIMUS model combines functionality and quality with contemporary aesthetics. For over 135 years, Hanhart has relied on its classic watchmaking virtues. Precision, reliability, ease of use and robustness are also embodied by this watch. MONOCHROME SPECIMEN EXCELLENT WEARING COMFORT The black numerals and index markers on the warm grey dial create a comparatively simple appearance. The black canvas strap together with the case and folding clasp made of matt sandblasted stainless steel complete the uniform, monochrome colour spectrum. In contrast to the simple colour scheme are the typical Hanhart trademarks. The fluted bezel with red index point, the typical Hanhart dial arrangement with totalizers at 3 and 9 o'clock and, last but not least, the red pusher made of anodised aluminium reflect the typical Hanhart features. Despite the striking case size of 44 mm diameter and 15 mm height, flexible lugs ensure a comfortable fit on the wrist. A LEGEND BECOMES A TRADEMARK THE RED PUSHER The red reset button on the side is a striking feature of the PRIMUS collection. Legend has it that when a young pilot put on his Hanhart one morning, he discovered that his wife had painted one of the pushers with red nail polish so that he would always think of her and return unharmed. This striking red pusher became Hanhart's trademark from 1939 onwards. It prevented the pilots from unintentionally resetting the stopped time during the flight and thus leaving the correct course. PERFECT FOR EVERY ADVENTURE THE PRIMUS COLLECTION In memory of Hanhart's eventful history, the young PRIMUS collection confidently presents itself with progressive design and state-of-the-art technology. The hint of historical elements is reflected in this line in the red comfort pusher made of anodized aluminium and in a striking fluted bezel. The innovative chronographs impress with their size, grip and ease of use and, thanks to the solid, high-quality stainless steel case, meet all the requirements of a reliable, robust and attractive watch. A strap made from the finest calfskin, canvas with a leather inside or vulcanized rubber ensures optimum comfort on the wrist. A screw-down sapphire crystal case back reveals the fascinating play of the movement and the oscillating weight. It is an ETA7750 or Sellita SW 500 basic movement with a modification for the typical Hanhart dial design with totalizers at 3 and 9 o'clock.
