Sawn Dark Grey Granite Bullnose Step 900x500x40mm

Our Dark Grey Granite is sawn on the sides with a square edge profile. The surface is sawn and flamed – offering excellent slip resistance. The steps have a full bullnose profile to one of the long edges. Characteristically this Indian Granite will present as charcoal in colour with a mixture white quartz striations and black flecks. Occasionally some very small amounts of iron oxide may be present. When wet this stone will present as almost black in colour. These are positive attributes that enhance the appearance of stone. Our paving, setts & steps are subject to dimensional tolerances of /- 2mm. We do not recommend that these products be butt jointed. We strongly recommend that this granite be primed using a suitable bond bridge prior to being laid to the mortar bedding layer We recommend a minimum gap of 5mm. These gaps should then be grouted with a suitable external grout or with Flowpoint. We recommend mixing paving from crates prior to installation. Always order an additional 10% to allow for wastage, cuts and the occasional piece which you may not like the look of.
