Handcrafted in solid oak, these make great personalised oak gifts L31cm x W12cm x D4cm (12 eggs) L31cm x W6cm x D4cm (6 eggs) 4cm holes to hold eggs Suitable for Small, Medium, Large and Large sized eggs Solid OAK Engraving along one edge Treated with white mineral oil Easy to clean and maintain Can use both sides Available to Personalise MATERIALS We make an Oak Egg Rack using kiln dried PRIME EUROPEAN OAK.  In other words, we use top grade timber.  All our OAK comes from sustainable sources and is FSC/PEFC certified.  Typically it is golden-brown in colour, with a straight grain and a medium to course texture MAKING AN OAK EGG RACK We individually make every Oak Egg Rack to order.  Our first step is to prepare the oak, which involves cutting, planing, drilling, routing and sanding the timber.   After that, we engrave your selected inscription, and then give the rack a final sanding before it is treated with white mineral oil.  We use this oil as it odourless, tasteless and additive free, so is generally suitable for people with allergies.  Each rack has between 2-3 coats before despatch, so it is good to use as soon as received. SHIPPING We send all items via Royal Mail or Parcelforce using a Signed For service.  Shipping costs are determined by the size and weight of the item ordered, however you can choose whether the item is shipped first or second class.  Shipping costs for multiple items on the same order will therefore be determined by the total weight and size of the packaging required to ship. CARING FRO YOUR OAK EGG RACK EGG RACK To keep these Racks in tip top condition we recommend an occasional clean and re oiling.  There are a few key things to remember when caring for your egg rack.  They do not like being immersed in water, however, they can be surface washed. They prefer to dry naturally, therefore don’t put it on a radiator, an aga or in direct sunlight.  Finally, they like to be nourished; in other words, treat it to an occasional oiling.  Care Instructions are provided with every purchase, so you can not only keep it looking great but also help it serve you well for years to come.  In conclusion, look after it and it will look after you!
